What is Htet?

HTET means Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test is a state-level eligibility test conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana every year for recruitment of those candidates who make their career in the respective and reputed field of Education as PRT, TGT and PGT teachers in the government and aided schools in the state of Haryana.

What is Htet eligibility?

Interested candidates who possess minimum educational qualification as per service rules relating to teachers.

(1) For Primary Teacher (PRT) for Classes I to V (Level-1): Candidate should have passed in Sr. Secondary or (its equivalent) with a minimum marks of 45%. Passed or appearing candidates are eligible with two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed) OR four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR two-year Diploma in Education in Special Education OR Graduation and candidate who passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

(2) For Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) for Classes VI to VIII (Level-II): Candidate should have Bachelor Degree (B.Sc./ B.A./ B.Com. etc.). Passed or appearing candidates are eligible with two-years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed) OR four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Edu) / 4-year B.A./ B.Sc.Ed. OR B.A. (Edu.)/B.Sc. (Edu.) / B.Ed. in Special Education and accordance with the NCTE.

If, you want to crack the Htet Exam 2019, it is necessary to know the complete Htet syllabus and exam pattern before appearing in the examination. Haryana School Education Board will conduct the Htet exam in three levels, i.e. a level first for Primary Teacher, level second for Trained Graduate Teacher and level third for Post Graduate Teacher. In these levels, only one paper will give with multiple-choice questions (MCQ), each carrying one mark with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.
